Gabriela Lago is an active member of ESOA's Global Spectrum and Regulatory Working Group. As Regulatory Affairs Advisor at INTELSAT, the foundational architects of satellite technology Gabriela brings over 20 years’ experience in the international telecommunications industry and is responsible for global market access and regulatory matters for over 50 satellites. Prior to joining Intelsat, Gabriela was responsible for Latin America and Caribbean regulatory affairs, public policy and market access at OneWeb, a low-earth orbit constellation focused on bridging the digital divide.
Gabriela started her career in the satellite industry with COMSAT Corporation, and continued to work with companies such as Telcordia (former Bell Labs) and Neustar in national number portability solutions. Gabriela also advised companies on go-to-market strategies and regulatory affairs, while actively collaborating with CITEL, COMTELCA and CTU.
