Mr. McIntyre is an Information Technology and Telecommunications (ICT) practitioner with 30+ years’ experience leading technology initiatives to promote innovation, drive efficiency and enable digital transformation at institutions across multiple sectors. Junior has leveraged his expertise to successfully implement many ICT development projects across the telecommunications, education and public sector landscape at the national and regional level.
Junior served as the regional coordinator, for the Caribbean Regional Communications Infrastructure Program (CARCIP), a multi-country ICT-led innovation and broadband network infrastructure project, led by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union and funded by the World Bank. He has managed multi-country telecoms infrastructure and ICT-Led innovation projects and currently serves as the lead for the development of the technology resilience strategic pillar, for the CARICOM, Caribbean Leadership Results-Based Management Group.
