Joe Provo is a network engineer, presently a Packet Slinger at Google. He has performed IP-based network and service design, engineering and implementation in one form or another since 1994. Joe’s additional experience as a professional system administrator and programmer extends several years prior, to 1990. Joe has a long history of volunteer work. Whether for community radio stations, activist organizations, theatre productions, DNS registries, NANOG Steering Committee/Board, or within his employer he seeks to give back into every aspect that shaped him. Joe was elected to the AC in October of 2016, and was re-elected 2019. His current term expires 31 December 2022.
