Christian Johnson is currently the Chief Information Security Officer of ARIN. Prior to joining ARIN, Christian spent 20 years in various information security and assurance roles and another seven as a part-time system and network administrator and Operations Security (OPSEC) Officer in the United States Army. He holds a Master's in Information Assurance and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP). Christian previously served on the Advisory Board of the National Science Foundation CyberWatch Program and developed curriculum for the Center for Cyber Safety and Education and for the University of Maryland Global Campus, where he also briefly served as an adjunct instructor.
