Matt Griswold is a long-time builder of Internet infrastructure with a strong focus on automation, interconnection, and operational tooling. Over the past two decades, he has founded and led community-focused initiatives including 20C, United IX (Chicago Internet Exchange), FullCtl, and Open Pipes, GPF and played a key role in establishing PeeringDB as an independent non-profit.
Through 20C, Matt has been deeply involved in developing open-source, API-driven tooling for Internet operations, including automation frameworks for peering, routing policy, and registry/RDAP data access. He is an active contributor to the global Internet operations community, with a consistent focus on making critical Internet infrastructure more open, scalable, and easier to operate. Ideally with less manual effort and fewer late-night emergencies.
