Participation
Overview
The ARIN 47 Public Policy and Members Meeting will be held entirely online using the Zoom webinar platform. We will provide the same remote participation options that we usually offer for our Public Policy and Members Meetings, including a webcast, live transcript, and chat room. There will also be a webcast, as well as live transcript, of the meeting on the ARIN website for unregistered viewers.
Remote registration is free, and all remote registrants will be listed as registered participants on the meeting website and in the archive of the meeting on the ARIN website.
ARIN makes all the materials used during the meeting available on its website. Closer to the meeting, you will be able to download a copy of the discussion guide and the most recent version of the Number Resource Policy Manual.
How to Participate
All participation will occur using functionality within the Zoom webinar. You must register for the webinar in order to submit comments and questions and vote in straw polls. A link to access the virtual meeting will be sent to all registered attendees in the days leading up to 12 April.
CHAT
Chat will be monitored to ensure that all participants adhere to the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of Behavior. This functionality is to be used for informal conversation only during the virtual meeting. All questions for the panelist(s) will need to be submitted using the Q&A feature, or by "raising your hand" during open microphone and discussion periods.
Q&A
The Q&A feature will be used to queue questions for the moderator in advance of and during discussion. During discussion periods, you may also elect to raise your hand in the participant panel to ask questions directly. A moderator will unmute participants in the order that hands are raised so that participants can ask their questions.
RAISING YOUR HAND
At various points throughout the virtual meeting, the moderator will invite questions and comments from the participants. Please raise your hand using the "raise hand" button on your toolbar if you would like to speak and a monitor will unmute you. Hands raised will appear to the moderator in the order they were raised. You may also submit your question or comment using the Q&A feature if you prefer.
