Welcome to ARIN 58!
Bienvenidos a Miami! Network with your colleagues at one of our social events or over breakfast and lunch at the InterContinental Miami during the meeting.
Join ARIN 58 virtually and participate in policy discussions, Q&As, and more. Chat with our virtual host and your fellow attendees during downtime — all from the comfort of your own home.
Please note: All attendees — both virtual and in-person — must be registered for ARIN 58 in order to participate.
Accessibility Information
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable individuals of all abilities to engage fully. Requests for accommodation and inquiries about specific accessibility support can be sent to meetings@arin.net. We also offer a virtual meeting component.
- Guest Room Accessibility: Contracted hotels within the U.S. and Canada have agreed to have handicap accessible hotel rooms available for booking in advance.
- Physical Accessibility: Meeting rooms are set with clear pathways and sufficient aisle space for wheelchairs and mobility devices, including access to the stage and/or microphone for speakers as needed.
- Virtual Meeting Accessibility: Real-time transcription is available. Additional support for interpreters may be provided upon request in advance of the meeting.
- Presentation Materials: Slides and handouts are designed to meet accessibility requirements, and these are published in advance in a distinguishable format.
- Accommodations: if you require a specific accommodation to participate in the meeting, such as a seating request, please contact meetings@arin.net.
- Social Event: We make reasonable efforts to host offsite events at venues that are accessible, including entryways, restrooms, and seating areas.
- Transportation: ARIN can assist in locating appropriate transportation support for offsite events. If transportation is contracted, we will make reasonable efforts to provide necessary accommodations when requested in advance.
Standards of Behavior
ARIN is committed to supporting a productive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants at ARIN events. Any person who takes part in an ARIN event is subject to the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of Behavior.
These standards require that ARIN meeting attendees must:
- Treat each other with civility, courtesy, and respect.
- Make reasonable and informed comments when participating in policy development and decision-making discussions and processes.
- Listen respectfully to the views of all stakeholders when considering policy issues.
- Work to build consensus with other participants and find solutions to issues.
- Act fairly and in good faith with other participants in the ARIN process.
- Act in accordance with ARIN’s Policy Development Process when participating in ARIN public policy events.
The ARIN model is based on a bottom-up, consensus-driven approach to policy development, and it requires all participants to engage in a manner that is respectful and welcoming.
Violations to the policy will be escalated appropriately, and any allegations will be treated with the utmost care. Please review the full policy for complete details.
Ombudsperson
As ARIN continues its efforts to create impactful and inclusive meetings, we are pleased to be joined by an ombudsperson during ARIN 58. This ombudsperson will be available for meeting participants and provide the following services:
- Closely observe the ARIN 58 meeting and be available as a resource for any participant who believes they have observed, or have been subject to, a violation of the ARIN Participants Expected Standards of Behavior or offensive behavior or statements made by another participant. If this occurs, the ombudsperson will address the situation both with that individual and potentially the alleged offending party to mediate or propose solutions aimed at preventing further issues.
- Provide coaching to meeting participants, which may include how to address sensitive matters with another participant or community member during the meeting.
- Assist ARIN to create an inclusive and safe meeting environment.
Health & Safety
The health and well-being of our community members and staff is a top priority for ARIN. We follow official requirements from national and local governments regarding applicable health response measures.
ARIN reserves the right to implement additional safety measures it deems appropriate in its discretion.
If you experience any symptoms of a communicable disease, do not attend the ARIN 58 meeting in person and only attend ARIN 58 virtually. We ask that you modify your registration to become a virtual attendee so you can still participate during the meeting while keeping our community safe.
